To paint the picture we are sitting in my Handmade In Noosa network meeting on the beautiful Noosa river, soaking up the sun with a great bunch of dynamic home based business women. I am having a discussion about my love/hate relationship with Soy Wax Candles.
I am a perfectionist, and I love getting candle orders but then also feel the pressure for them to be perfect smelling and perfect appearance. So on this day I was making a huge batch of bespoke glass candles for another local business. I mentioned candles can be temperamental like people! Due to it being winter, which for us is still a delightful 20 degrees! However these precious candles like the studio room heated really hot consistently so that they then set perfectly and don’t crack. To my delight the candles and I worked well together and once completed and checked I was feeling happy and proud. I can’t wait to see some photos of them in people’s beautiful homes.
I love the ambiance, the glow, the scent and the peacefulness that candles create in a home, work space and day spas. What a treat for everybody.
